The benefits of working with Susan have been remarkable. I have been using software provided by Susan for about two years now. I currently run an after school program and have about 145 students enrolled which means about 145 different accounts and schedules. Before Susan and her software, my ministry was consumed by doing paperwork and calendars the long hand way. After the new software was implemented my ministry has been more focused on being with the children and spending time were it really counts! The new software has minimized my paperwork to about 3-4 hours a week instead of 10-15 hours per week. What a relief it has been! Everything is now at the tip of my fingers and ready when I need it!

Our previous system was definitely not "user-friendly".  Susan came to the college and met with a group of people who needed to use the new system in some way.  She listened to the needs and in a brief time was able to design a program that would take care of the needs expressed in the meeting.  There were even a few items needed but not expressed in the initial meeting, and Susan very quickly was able to adapt the program to handle those items as well.  The new program is so much more helpful for our needs.

Even to this day, as our needs and "wants" for that program change, she is always very gracious about us contacting her to discuss the changes needed and sending us updates to facilitate those needs.  I do realize that we are not her only account, but Susan does make us feel that way in the prompt and personal service she provides.

Susan has made it possible for us to coordinate our field service department with our accounting department.  She designed a billing template that is used out in the field, transmitted to the main office, and into our system.  We have cut our processing and collection time in half!  Can't wait to see what she'll come up with next.

I approached Susan with what I thought would be an impossible job!  I tried to tackle Access with a template to no avail and only ended up frustrated. I sat down with Susan and showed her the paper forms I was collecting at our child safety seat inspections.  She worked one on one with me that day to explore what my needs were.  I was reporting to numerous grant and employee leaders reports that all utilized the same data on this one form.  The problem was that each person required a different report! 

We have a busy Safe Kids Coalition and child safety seat inspection station that is in 3 sites.  Susan was able to make the same data collection for each station be inputted individually by the site coordinators.  It is then uploaded to my master database via email.  I then can use any of the custom designed reports that Susan created---each one specific for the grant evaluation requirements---with the click of a button literally!  What used to take me hours and hours of pain staking counting back through check up forms, now happens with ease!  As a manager, there is no value you can place on that!  It’s priceless!  The database she created is something I would NEVER be without!  Data collection is even more important now that it ever was!  Most grants want you to spend a specific percentage of that grant on evaluation, and I can’t think of a better way to spend that than on obtaining this database!  Access is a fascinating software and Susan knows how to make it work for your specific reporting needs!

We are an Oil & Gas Operating company. As such we have to submit several reports to different state, federal and private agencies each month. As a small company it was not cost effective for us to buy the software that the larger companies use to complete this task. We decided to hire Practical Computing Solutions, LLC to set up several reports for us to get our reporting done. They were able to accomplish this for us in a short period of time. Susan Snyder of Practical Computing Solutions LLC solved a particularly vexing programming dilemma for me.   Susan took a software program created by a graduate student and I as part of a research project and eliminated the many software bugs that had kept the program from performing in an acceptable manner.   She accomplished this with a minimum of preparation but with significant insight into both computer applications and operating systems.   The final program worked exactly as planned.   Susan needed only the briefest of clues to discern where problems existed in the software.   She delivered the promised results on time and under budget.   I will not hesitate to use Susan’s services again when my research desires exceed my programming abilities.

Susan Snyder created a system that offers several features for Children's Programming at Third City Christian Church.  First, the system allows parents to self check-in their children on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.  Second, the system allows parents to check-out their children and update their daily schedules for our Connect After School program.  Both aspects were specifically designed for security purposes.  The system also produces reports, attendance, class rosters, billing etc.  It is very user friendly.  Susan did a fantastic job creating just what we asked for and she is always willing to tweak anything we might need to make the system a fit for our needs.

Susan is a great at what she does.  She helped correct and tweak a program that we had someone else build but never finished.  She helped design food care & DHHS spreadsheets that saved us a lot of hours in production work.  Then she worked it all into our already working program.
